I was
a registered breeder with the Tamaskan Dog Register for just shy of two years (October 2007-August 2009). However, due
to what I believe has been continued unethical practices and violations of the Code of Ethics by the main TDR
head committee members, as well as deceitful misrepresentation of the Tamaskan
pedigrees and health, I have found it necessary to separate myself completely from the TDR and no longer support or
remain affiliated with it or any of its clubs.
Ta-Kari Tamaskans remains focused
on a healthy breed and a bright future, in full honesty and disclosure. To this end, as part of the Tamaskan Breeders
Association, we will focus on the development of the Aatu Tamaskan ... a healthier, more vibrant and more wolfy breed,
stemming from our TDR registered Tamaskan stock.
When I
resigned from the TDR, it was apparent that the TDR was unwilling to work consistently for the betterment of the Tamaskan
breed, or the future of its breeders. In fact, the pattern had become clear and consistent that when one did not agree
with the TDR administration, that individual was immediately disparaged and malicious and slanderous communications circulated
to others in the Tamaskan community. The TDR Secretary, Jennie, believes that disparagement in a private setting (i.e.,
emails) or behind closed doors is an acceptable behavior, particularly when engaged in by her mother (Blustag), for whom there
are no consequences. Yet, when those of us focused on presenting documented truth
and proven facts, the TDR and its minions have made (and continue to make) serious
attempts to discredit us by slander and calling us names, even 'trawling' the internet to make purposeful degrading
remarks against us on a variety of forum and other sites. The TDR's actions have been continually contradictory
and less than honest or professional ... to say the least. And we have a plethora of documentation to prove it.
The fact remains that neither Blustag or Blufawn can or have provided anything to negate the facts we have presented.
Instead, they stoop to libel, opinions and conjecture.
The
TDR Secretary's own continued lack of forthrightness and honesty was a contributing factor to my resignation. (For
example, she states that another breeder who resigned hid the fact that one of her dogs became epileptic, when I have an email
dated ONE YEAR PRIOR from the TDR Secretary in fact confirming they knew of this dog... just one of the many examples of less
than honest presentation or actions on behalf of those who are supposed to be of the utmost honesty and integrity.)
The TDR Secretary also stated that her primary concern and reason for staying with the Tamaskan breed was for monetary gain
("getting out of debt"). In fact, she voluntarily and knowingly chose to breed two dogs known for proven
or potential health issues (Blufawn litter October 2009), rather than breeding two healthy dogs, as looks were more important
than health to her. These and MANY other actions are in direct contradiction to the TDR's own Code of Ethics.
Because of these and many other deplorable activities, I could NOT remain part of an organization with such a lack of morals
and honesty in their presentation of the pedigree lines or dealings with others, and whose focus was not the betterment of
the breed. [This is FUNNY: The TDR claims I resigned because no breeder would provide me with a puppy. HELLO!!!
I already have a male and female. ... but what a great way for them to shift the eyes off their actions and lack of
integrity.] Unfortunately, many of their 'followers' are falling in line with such a less than best way of dealing
with breeding.
Of course, if the head committee members (Blustag and Blufawn)
don't set the highest standard, then their followers will do even less. And if the people in charge are less than
honest, or engage in deplorable activities as has been the case, their followers will do the same. And, with that pattern
emerging ever rampant and clearer, we decided to leave the TDR. Sadly, all they can do is resort to name calling
and slander, as they can provide no documentation and proof to back up their claims ... only empty words they hope people
will believe. [I have every email communication sent and received with Blustag and Blufawn sincemy
initial involvement with the TDR.]
However, what
followed after our resignation and what was uncovered has
given me even that much more conviction and strength to pursue my road and breeding program as part of the Tamaskan Breeders
Association. In fact, the disgusting, unethical and deplorable activities that head members of the TDR have engaged
in since 2005 (when still part of the BIUS) has proven that the decision to leave them was right, and well-founded, and now
backed by documentation.
I started pedigree research in May 2009 to reintegrate
the breeder and official registered names within our pedigrees that were removed by the TDR (no doubt to inhibit the
progress of those wishing to do research into the pedigrees and health histories). It wasn't until after our resignation that we uncovered the blatant
lie and purposeful misrepresentation of the Tamaskan as the "wolfdog without the wolf".
You decide for yourself. Make your decisions based on fact ... not fiction. And please don't just take
someone's word for it.

So soon after the above site launch, the TDR forum is once
again riddled with false accusations, assumptions and libel. What again is so sad and typical is that people's
posts were immediately deleted and people banned for questioning what they don't want questioned regarding the wolf
pedigree within certain lines. The forum is run just like Hitler ran things ... their
way or no way. It is amazing to me, however, just how many people are willing to ignore documented fact (Blustag's and Blufawn's own websites and words
... all we did was summarize what we found). Sadly, we did expect this kind of childish behavior though. Really,
that's all they can do, as they have nothing to contradict their own actions, intentions and words that have been well
documented.
It
is quite apparent that some don't want to know the truth
because then they would have to do something
about it. So to shift responsibility, they choose to malign and slander with disgusting and untrue accusations and opinion.
It's always easier to remain part of the ignorant than become one of integrity. Again, the information is out there
.... in THEIR own words. We have cleared our consciences of knowledge that, remaining hidden, could hurt someone (person
or dog) later. Really, I feel so very sorry for them. But, we also know that the innocent yet to research the
breed now have facts upon which to make their decision. That's what matters! And should there be any 'incidents'
with any of these lines, then our consciences are also clear.
UPDATED 11/30/09 -- Since the release
of this information, the TDR and its cohorts have chosen to continue on their rampage of defamation, slander and libel, and
have stepped up their attacks on those who cannot defend themselves on their public forum. Rather than take a professional
position to support their claims by providing documentary evidence and proof in support of their words, and to the contrary
of what is presented herein, they malign, disparage and threaten. They have started a 'campaign' to have websites
closed down, rather than present their "facts" as accurate. One must question the integrity of an organization
that prefers to engage in these kinds of tactics in lieu of a professional presentation of verifiable evidence to the contrary.
We will not engage them in this childish and disgusting behavior. We have presented what we have found ... Others will have
to decide for themselves. [Remember, Blustag and Blufawn had a miserable track record before
we all resigned ... just talk to any Utonagan or Northern Inuit breeder.. Oh yeah, Blustag would have you believe that
they are all wrong too. How sad to live a life where the rest of the world is against you and everyone else is a liar
... very sad indeed!]
In fact, several of the TDR group
supporters, who wish to blindly stick their head in the sand and ignore the facts in front of them, have been harassing contributors
to this website, rather than doing the research into what has been presented a well-documented, accurate, professional and
unbiased manner. While we have been accused of "lying", what we have presented is merely the written words
of Blustag and Blufawn themselves. If the time they have spent to disparage,
slander and malign was used instead for good, imagine the strides they could make for
the betterment of their breed and educating their breeders to be honest and ethical
in their presentations and dealings with others. Instead, they continue to harass those that have left the TDR with
a personal agenda and vendetta that is beyond adult comprehension.
Certainly if the TDR’s position is truthful, this information would not be such a threat to them
and their breeding programs, and it would be 'easy' for them to disprove. So, why do they make such diligent
attempts to stifle and stop this information from being presented if it is, as they say, false? How can only one or
two people with only a few breeding dogs hold so much power over a group making the type of claims they do, if in fact those
claims are accurate? They claim that lies are being told, but have yet to provide anything
substantial or accurate to the contrary. In fact, they have ignored requests to provide the documentation and
proof in support of their position (i.e., Blustag has flatly refused to provided DNA
samples for third-party testing to prove parentage of her wolfdogs).
The TDR claims as its defense to this information that "pictures get stolen". However, anyone who
carefully reviews the information herein (and who wants to know the truth), as well as its attachments and
links, will clearly see that what is presented here is found on Blustag's own archived
websites (with Blufawn as the webmaster). It is their works, creation and words that have been compiled and
simply summarized from other public resources -- not recreated, forged or stolen. And, all archived Blustag sites were
created by Blustag and Blufawn. [You cannot delete everything on the 'information highway' despite attempts
to do so.]
There is a saying that "You've got
to stand for something or you'll fall for anything." The Tamaskan Fable (and this) site and its information
is presented in a stand for honesty and presentation of truth only. What someone
wishes to do with the information is a personal choice.
Everyone
has the right to choose which course they wish to pursue. For those that wish
to believe 'words' rather than documented evidence to the contrary, that is your choice, and we wish you the best
of luck in your pursuits. For those searching for the real truth behind the Tamaskan
pedigrees in order to either make an educated decision as to where to purchase their future puppy, or how to handle one with
whom there may be possible behavioral issues, this information is for you. In no way
are we dictating from whom or where to purchase your future puppy ... We simply encourage you to review all the information so that you can make the best decision for your family.
You cannot just take someone’s word for it. You are the jury in your own Court … and the decision for your
future is in your hands. In the end, several things are at stake ... the health and life of your dog, and the safety
