TAKEIA (J&J Moonlight @ Ta-Kari) - d.o.b. 7/15/07 - registered TDR (UK) Tamaskan; also registered foundation dog with the Aatu Tamaskan (TBA); has had 2 litters (January & July 2010) and is a wonderful mom.  Takeia is my heart and constant companion.  She is full of personality (to say the least) and smart as a whip.  She has been with me since August 4, 2007.  She is my 'Peanut' (can't say where that nickname came from though Laughing)

DAKARI (Alba Brun @ Ta-Kari) - d.o.b. 12/5/08  - registered TDR (UK) Tamaskan; also registered foundation dog with the Aatu Tamaskan (TBA); has had 2 litters (January & July 2010).  Dakari is a big love-bug and ham.  He loves his belly rubbed and is content to do nothing but be loved. When he arrived (2/10/09) he was so small that I was concerned he would grow.  But he has grown into a handsome and well-built boy. And he is the playmate with the puppies but has been good with discipline as well.  I call him my 'ding dong' although he really is my Little Man.

MYSTIQUE (Mystique Dresselhaus @ Ta-Kari) - d.o.b. 2/15/11 - Mystique is a rare breed Alaskan Noble Companion Dog.  She is very well put together and has gorgeous yellow eyes.  She has quite some time of growth left so I am anxious to see her continued development.  Temperamentally I am pleased.  While not as gregarious and outgoing as my adults, she is curious and loving to both  humans and other canines.  She is a communicator and howler.  In fact, I sometimes call her Little Jet because she makes a sound like the cartoon Jetsons spaceship (I know...silly girl!).  She loves her pack and has remained low in the pecking order so far.

FUTURE MALE:  In order to attain our goal of creating wolf-like companion dogs and maintain our breeding program, we are constantly searching for outcrosses and reviewing pedigrees.  Without new blood, we will be very limited on our future options.  So, we are working with other breeders and are hopeful that one of the males born of our JUNGLE BOOK litter will develop into a potential stud.  STAY TUNED!  I also hope to keep a female from a Takeia breeding in order to further diversify and continue the yellow/gold eye potential.
