dogs
**************************************************************** Thank you for your interest
in Ta-Kari Tamaskans. We were one of the first Tamaskan breeders in the U.S. Our dogs, Takeia (J&J Moonlight)
and Dakari (Alba Brun) are TDR registered Tamaskans and have been double-registered with the Aatu Tamaskan Breeders Association
as foundation dogs. However, we voluntarily resigned in August 2009 from the TDR (after having been closely affiliated
with them for almost two years, having served as Secretary of the NTCA from 10/07 - 12/07, President of the NTCA from 12/07
- 2/08, and VP of the NTCA from 2/08 - 2/09). We recently resigned from the Aatu Tamaskan Breeders Association 9/11,
but CONTINUE to maintain our vision of the future of our dogs and future lines. Our goal has always been, and
remains, to produce high quality, wolf look-alike companion dogs in the hopes that the 'look' will one day overtake
the breeding and sale of wolfdogs and wolves. Despite our resignation from the TBA,
having been involved in developing the Aatu Tamaskan standard, we will continue to call our dogs/puppies Aatu Tamaskans, as
our goal is in line with what we developed as the Aatu standard.. to enhance our current and future lines in order to create
and provide incredible wolflike companion dogs.
This website is designed to help educate
would-be purchasers on what to look for and, more importantly, what to stay away from
when searching for any puppy, and in particular any one or anything related to the Tamaskan breed. Prospective adopters
have the right to make a well-informed decision on truth and fact… And that is our goal. I hope this helps you
in your search for your future furry companion.......

LITTER INFORMATION: VISIT LITTERS or NEWS & EVENTS pages
I am currently developing a waiting list for these and future litters. So, if you are
interested in puppy, even if it is a year or two from now, please request an application now
and indicate your time frame therein. Pups will be placed based on suitability, after temperament testing, not
solely in a first come/first serve basis. These dogs are EXTREMELEY smart. Proper placement, as well as previous
dog experience/ownership, is crucial.
